17-year-old businessman founded four startups
Historia 17-year-old Australian web programmer Laci Groom (Lachy Groom) shows that entrepreneurship is a talent or it is from an early age, or it takes a long time to look for.
This guy (in the photo, he teaches the programming of a student) started the business from an early age, as a child, he sold soda and worked dogs, 11-year-old father taught him HTML and CSS. In 2008 at the age of 13 years old boy founded the first startup PSDtoWP.com. Customer orders mainly from Europe and the United States, he created WordPress themes from Photoshop layouts. After nine months, the site acquired a large consulting company.
But the teenager was still a lot of ideas for startups. During the holidays in Bali in 2011, he read the bestseller of that time "the Body in four hours", which was referred to the original complex substances PAGG (policosanol, thioctic acid, green tea extract and garlic). The owner immediately came up with the bright idea — and in a few hours, he registered the domain PAGGStack.com and contacted the suppliers of the products. Within a month after returning from vacation he started packaging and selling worldwide "kits for weight loss" is the trendy diet.
Another startup Laci the Groom was simple. Him as a fan of Apple technology friend sent from America iPad, but almost the first day, when the boy took it to school, a classmate dropped my iPad on the concrete floor, and the tablet broke the screen. "At the time I didn't have any projects, and my father suggested I start a website that would bring passive income. So I did," says Lacy, in may 2010 he opened the iPadCaseFinder.com, a simple filter in the table showed proposals for the sale of covers for iPad from different sellers. All outgoing links were affiliate links. Business went well: a few weeks after launch, the website has registered 400 thousand visits, and Amazon generously paid for the affiliate program. It was a very successful project, and a few months later, he also found a buyer.
Now Laici develops his fourth startup Cardnap (search and resale of discount cards), he has created 15 jobs with an average salary of $79 thousand in the year, probably the firm a turnover of more than 100 thousand dollars a month. Not bad for a teenager who legally can't even drink beer and vote.
Laci wants to move to the Mecca of Internet business in Silicon valley, but after finishing school in December of last year until now, the entrepreneur cannot get a work visa in the US, because he has no higher education and formal skills in the specialty.
