Impressions of the new iPad
What can I say — everyone saw that Apple presented to the world public on March 7, all understand that the miracle under the cut, not worth waiting for =) However, I want to share impressions of the news, which happened to use for some time.

What does all of this gave? And in fact we have a very clear image without any hint of pixels. The most obvious example — a piece of card, which is on the second iPad looks like scaled down for article picture (the blurry illegible mess in signatures), while the novelty will be readable and clear text as clickable in the source:
Any element: the text on the screen, the icons in the status bar, app icons anywhere of these elements, you will not see pixelation.

And for this task the camera just has enough — in this regard, the image became lighter than before.
The rear camera (now 5 megapixel iSight) remained still as big and fast “viewfinder” :), but the amount of noise was considerably reduced. But there is more realistic color reproduction, face detection (up to 10 pieces in the frame — it is not very clear, what is this, but I bet that not just). A separate item like the minimum focusing distance, which is now able to photograph the tablet — the camera focuses on objects from a distance of about 5 centimeters! To macro photography, of course, still far away, but to photograph the sheet of the lectures (not the weight, and leaning on the fingers) will be much easier. Each photo has a resolution of 2592х1936 and it takes on average 1.5-2 MB.
Camera learned how to do the video in the format FullHD (1920x1080) — recording quality again, losing the individual devices and the process of shooting will not be as convenient, but the function as such is clearly not too much... and then like the joke about the cow dung, which is not useful.

If the first version of iOS for iPad was a lot of questions and complaints, to date (iOS 5.1) it's pretty good lick — the device works as a watch. If you talk about performance, it is enough for all existing games and applications — whether heavy Infinity Blade 2 or the new three-dimensional map in Yandex.Pathfinder.
The performance achieved thanks to the new Apple A5X — dual-core processor (clocked at ~1GHz) with Quad-core graphics processor. Any significant overheating during operation (even demanding games) I didn't notice all the bounds of decency.
Doubled the amount of RAM was 1Gb in contrast to 512MB, installed in the iPad 2. The battery life sort of left at the same level — about 10 hours, although I have not had time to check it out :)
The slightest slow-downs, no complaints about the whole — you can dig to the shortcomings of specific individual applications. There is no problem and in that case, if you run several dozen programs and leave them “wait”... anyway, all is well — absolutely no comments.

Both versions of the updated tablet got Bluetooth 4.0 and the support of protocols 802.11 a/b/g/n. Neither the one nor the other was not a problem.

But there is something nice, namely decline in prices for the entire range of the previous generation. If you with scepticism reacted to the release of the first iPad, and have not matured to the second, now-then certainly the time has come to reject all doubts and to break the piggy Bank — the price was so affordable that the risk to please even avid opponents “not wanting to pay for the brand”.
